Kwoltan Gera is a lot more strict with their names than Morit Gera. A warrior WILL have one of the listed suffixes, for the reason it is listed (or out of spite, in Minnow Heart's case). Morit Gera is a lot more liberal; while the suffixes usually mean this, some warriors will have these suffixes for different reasons (Darkshade is named for her mother Shadefoot, not for her stealthiness), or suffixes not even listed (Hazelbush) that can be given for a variety of reasons, usually being named after someone else or just because they/their parent/mentor request it, or their leader just thinks it's a good name.

Cool, it's a pretty practical list to have in hand while reading the books. I knew some meanings but I can't exactly remember them all, so that'll help. If I remember correctly Morit Gera are the ones who're close to disappearing right? Before that came to be, while they were still in top-shape, were they already liberal with the suffixes or were they strict like Kwoltan?
Kinda wondering if their condition has anything to do with the way they're more open with the names you see.
